TDIFest 2006 is coming back to the east coast this year. The location is King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (just outside Philadelphia) on the Labour Day Weekend (September 1st through 3rd, 2006).

Congratulations guys & gals!

Here is an abbreviated version of their proposal:

OVERVIEW:

Valley Forge, PA
Valley Forge National Historic Park is the center of many attractions. There are tons of historical sites, museums, great shopping venues, and more natural wonders than anywhere in North America. Valley Forge is located about a half hour from Philadelphia and it's a great area for day trips, group tours, and the TDIFest.

Hotel:
The Sheraton Park Ridge Hotel at Valley Forge would be the location of the 2006 Tdi Fest.
http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/search/hotel_detail.html?propertyID=97505

The Sheraton Park Ridge is pleased to offer TDI Fest 2006 a special, $80 per room, per night, rate based on single or double occupancy for September 1-4, 2006. They will also provide our group with a large complimentary poolside hospitality suite. The Hospitality Suite consists of 3 rooms that are interconnected and can open up to one large room. We will use this to organize registration and hold educational seminars throughout the weekend.

Hotel Parking and TDI CLUB Activities Areas
The hotel has three main parking areas. The front is reserved for transient guests. The other two lots would be reserved for the TDIFest. The rear parking lot will be reserved for activities, such as car wash, vendors, Show ‘n’ Shine and general Fest parking. The third parking is an annex, owned by the Sheraton Hotel and Lockheed Martin; it consists of approximately 110 parking spaces. This parking lot will be exclusive for our slow speed autocross.

Camping
Shady Acres Campground
Rt. 282, Downingtown, PA 19335 (610) 269-1800
~20 miles from Hotel near Marsh Creek State Park

Valley Forge and Hotel Access:

Hotel Shuttle:
The Club will have access to all 4 Sheraton Hotel Shuttles. The hotel offers free shuttle service to nearby Valley Forge/King of Prussia venues and attractions.

Via Car:
The Valley Forge/King of Prussia Highway System was redone a couple years ago. This area now boosts one of the smoothest driving surfaces. It’s convenient to 3 major highways, which are: I-76, PA Turnpike and Route 202. The hotel is located 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love.

I was stoked, until someone spoiled it by bringing up Yuengling. Reminded me of my first sip. I brought it back up too! No, thanks.
Hey, Rammstein, Bring me a 24 case of Sleeman's Honey Brown!
