400k miles on 03 wagon runs smoothest silk. It does smoke for about 2 minutes when you first start up but after it gets warm no smoke whatsoever . I still think the ALH engine is the best thing VW ever did ever! Lol

163k miles on 02 sedan
154k miles on 14 wagon

Hit 200k miles last week. Running a Rocketchip 25psi tune on my 17/22 for 5 or six years now.
Runs great, got the Golf with 123k about 8yrs ago. The mods and suspension work are hanging in.
Cam just starting to pit and I've got a bigger airbox to install. Needs an oil change and fuel filter,
best car I've ever owned. I'll keep it till I, or it, drops.

My 03 Jetta Wagon is just hitting 696K km (432K miles). Still original engine and trans, pulling strong. Just did injection pump seals over the summer.

I'm the third owner... My buddy had it from about 150K to 527K by August of 2020, when he gave it to me. My overall fuel economy has been around 5L/100 km.

It's simple and I love it. Got a spare engine ready for whenever it needs a swap. 👍🏻

161000 miles right now. Wife wants to take it to 200 but at about 4000 a year, that means we may never see a different second car!

Jeez always blows my mind to see low mileage TDIs! Mostly because they look brand new inside and out.

240,000 miles sinec 2000 in a GT-TDI mk4. Replacements have been a new turbo (seizing bearing) and (preventative) duplex air/fuel pump, water pump, and a few cambelts. EGR vacuum hose disconnected, and emissions virtually zero. Koni sports dampers (never adjusted since initial days) poly bushes, Eibach springs. Also passenger airbag, clutch (release bearing broken up). Initial oil consumption 5000 miles per litre, falling to zero since about 35000 miles. Normally 50 mpg rising to 60 on a run. brake discs and pads (EBC Redstuff) about 100,000 miles (very few traffic lights or roundabouts in rural France. Still fun to drive!

My 2015 Golf SportWagen TDI hit 100K on 3/21/2024. It's a long way to go to surpass my prior TDI record with a 2000 Jetta TDI at 237,566 miles when I sold it on 12/12/2019.

My son is bringing his '02 Golf here for an oil change today. He's a little late; 491K on it. My Wagon is at 488K, right behind him. And my '97 Passat is about to hit 300K and another timing belt service.

TDIs have also been popular in our family due to my influence and free maintenance labor. Besides our blue Golf SportWagen SE DSG, I mentioned with over 100K, my daughter owns a red 2015 Golf SportWagen S DSG closing in on 100K and my son owns a silver 2012 Golf 3-dr manual 6-speed with over 100K. I'll have to get their latest odometer readings on the next oil change.
