2005 TDI Fest Vendors list

Gang,
I'm the individual handling the vendor organization for the 2005 TDIFest. Please feel free to contact me if you are a vendor or know other vendors that may be interested in attending. The list in this forum will be updated as time goes by. The people listed below are from individuals that I've actually heard back from and have given me some sort of commitment. Please send any info to me for potential vendors. I have contacted many more than the list states. These are from actual responses I've gotten. I don't want to duplicate invites (yes, I actually invite these people) because with the generosity of these folks, it helps make an event such as this very exciting.

UPDATE: The items in BOLD are confirmed items. These folks have either sent me their items they said they would, or are registered and paid for the TDI Fest and bringing their items.

Biodiesel Presence

I would like to be a vendor and bring biodiesel to the event. FryAway is the name of my biodiesel distribution company. I would be more than willing to donate biodiesel. I could drive the home-delivery truck and make biodiesel available to everyone.

Now that would be great! I think I only used BD 1 time on my car ever. I'd like to try it more if it were cheaper and more available in Kenosha and Chicago..

I edited the vendor posting. The items highlighted in BOLD text are for sure. I have either received the items or have confirmation with a TDIFest registration and payment.

Just a quick update to the vendors sponsoring and attending this years TDI Fest.
Be sure and register for the Fest soon as we're going to be closing the registrations down in the near future in order to get meal, t-shirt and other counts.

Folks, if you aren't excited about the items being donated for this year's TDI Fest....well, then, you've got issues.

Take a look at what is for sure going to be there and see if anything makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up? I think there's a little something for everyone on this list. I personally want to thank all of those that have supported the TDI Fest thus far. I've maybe been a pest at times and couldn't do this for a full time job. It's much too stressfull.

Please, be sure and thank these folks and continue to support their businesses. There's still a couple of weeks left till the event and a lot of things have happened in the last week or so. Who know's WHAT will transpire in the next couple of weeks?

Keep in mind also, there may be a few surprises in the works? We've got to keep you in suspense ya know?

Yes...actually, I think we'll be selling raffle tickets. Something like $1 each or 6 for $5. Then, you can put your tickets in the corrisponding raffle items bin. The winners will be drawn at the banquet dinner.

This was the only way I see fair to everyone.

This way, if a person can only afford to buy one ticket, they still have a chance to win and it doesn't mean the guy with the deepest pockets wins, it just improves their odds.

As it stands right now, those ARE the items that will for sure be there. If the attending says YES or REGISTERED, then those vendors/mfgrs will be there as well.

Looking forward to meeting a bunch of fellow TDIers at the Fest!

I know I haven't seen it. If you had been emailing Jeff directly, we've recently discovered that A LOT of his emails are getting bounced by his companies SPAM system. We'd love to have you there!

It looks like some cool stuff is being donated by the vendors. Thanks guys for supporting TDIFest and TDIClub! We'll make sure it gets put to good use!

Please note that if you plan to sell products at TDIFest you will need to contact Jeff (bluenb1). He will get you all setup and registered as unregistered vendors will not be permitted to sell items at the fest.

For those with some personal items, don't worry, there will be a swap meet on Saturday.

Guess that's what happens when GeWilli isn't in attendance - he was the (now legendary) auctioneer at the last three Fests. Not going to be the same with someone pulling numbers (and maybe the odd Rabbit diesel) out of a hat!

Actually we may be doing a little bit of both...auction and raffling. Maybe even several 50/50 raffles throughout the course of the fest! Those are always fun! So don't start pouting just yet

Oh, I'm not fuming or anything about raffle vs. auction format. Every Fest is different somehow and perhaps this would be a better approach to have a mix of the two formats. Long as we rake in some bucks for the club it's all good, right?!
