Pfft! Just sledgehammer it back into shape, throw on some junkyard body parts, drop in another half-dead diesel, and then sell it on eBay for $4000.

Ironically, my old '92 ECOdiesel got hit on the passenger-side front corner three times and rear-ended once, and was totalled twice (once on a PA title, then later on a NJ title) -- but yet it still drove straight as an arrow, with perfect alignment and no unusual tire wear, and is still on the road today, with its fourth owner.

So it seems the 'Mystery Battery Drain' was actually my fault... I had misadjusted the brake light switch, and the brake lights were prolly stuck on.

I am curious to know if you have any parts left to sell. I am interested in the tires/rims and the drivers side front fender. I intend on using them on this beauty: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=170461&highlight=GIDDY_UP_GO


I would also be interested in the front and rear struts and springs if they will fit an "86" Golf

The driver's front fender isn't good anymore. The shocks were taken but the springs are still available I think.
