Well I got thru my 200K Timing Belt job. Took me twice as long as I imagined but it was a good learning experience. Thanks to Metalman for the tool rental, mckpat03 for the VC cable rental, and Brad Berkey the wifes cousins huband who is a Mazda dealership mechanic for the assistance. Now onto brakes, suspension , and exhaust

The first one is always fun...took me about 8-9 hours. I triple checked everything, labeled and baged every nut, bolt and part I removed. I learned a lot about the car during the process. Now I can change the TB on an ALH and PD in about 4-5 hours. Swap a turbo out in about 2hrs.

Many of the TDI gurus around here can knock a TB out in under 2 hours...I'll never be that proficent at it.
