My current summer car has ~130hp (according to Malone website). Malone Stage 3, 11mm IP, PP520 nozzles and SouthBend Stage 2 Daily clutch.

My wife's BEW wagon is stock but will get a tune sometime in the near future, its her "race car." Project wagen (BEW) is stock.

Wow I wish my DD is a 97 tdi stock Jetta and gets great mileage but seems like its pushing about 10 bunny power. The Golf runs great though. Any one around St Louis that can tune or at least find out if injector is pumping ok or not. Thanks

Check user Oilhammer, I think he works at a dealer. Maybe pricey, but he's one of the very best in the country.

The one I just sold had EGR delete, Colt stage II cam, Malone 1.5 tune, no cat, 3" cat back, 205 nozzles, ran like a scolded ape and got better mpg than when it was stock.

The wife's 03 wagon is the same but no cam yet.

My 05 when it gets back from the body shop, will get cat and muffler delete, Malone tune with EGR delete but won't take it off the engine.

The Stage 3 tune I had with a VNT-15 and .205 nozzles I would guess 100-150 HP as likely correct. Even with the tune untouched, the addition of .230 nozzles and a 17/56 turbo gave me what seemed like a new engine. I can hardly wait for my Stage 4 tune so I can install my 3 bar MAP sensor and move up to the 150-200 HP range. Woo-Hoo!!!

My 2000 Jetta is stock - 90 hp.

My 84 Vanagon, with an '02 ALH, is in the bottom of the 100-150 range (that's the one I voted, as I drive it daily). It has a Stage 1 Tune, progressively larger exhaust from the Turbo out, opened EGR assembly (similar to the race pipe), and an Evac -crankcase ventilation system. Everything else is stock. Also, I'll say it gives my ol' Vanagon all the power it needs ... even to pull a 1200 lb camper.

I know mine has NOT been on a dyno. I'm wondering how much it costs for like 3 pulls...
Depends, around here, its $100 for 3 pulls or around $125-$150 an hour to rent it for personal use.

Both my cars (wagon not included- it's my wife's daughter's) are tuned and configured the same: vnt15, DLC520s and Malone 2 tune. Wife's car dyno'd at 118hp (258 ft-lbs). I figure my car is just about the same: I always want to say that my car performs better than hers, but when I drive hers I realize that it does in fact really go; maybe difference is that I've got a nicer clutch and a muffler delete.

I'd say between 155-160hp but haven't been on a dyno.

Malone stage 4
VNT-17
3bar MAP
Fully deleted
Upgraded SMIC and larger intake pipes.
2.5 turbo back exhaust
DC stage 2 clutch

Looking to get Bosio 1043s this month. Should get me up to 180-185hp

That must be a fun car. My stock 05 5 speed wagon goes pretty good, can't imagine what it would be like your mods,

It's a very fun car to drive. Once I get the 1043s I'll be done for a while. Or so I tell myself that...
I've been saying that eve since I started driving in 1986.

I don't need a dyno. Just more rubber on the front!
