Seems that question has been ask sometime recently (this year). I do not recall if I read any of the follow-up posts! Sorry!

I was gonna say it was about 90 lbs when I lifted mine the first time. I just found out how heavy the autos are...240 lbs! I think I will be investing in a trans jack before I swap it out. I bet that extra 150 lbs is taking up the missing 0.5" I didnt get out of the VR6 springs up front.

ya, the trans jack that HF sells is a good unit. costs about $80 and is worth every penny. I also use it to support the motor from below on timing belt changes, I just turn it 90* to the oil pan so it rests on the strongest part of the pan. makes for easy up & down adjustment for getting the bracket out of the way and reaching the bolts.
