Good plan. Make sure to take into account for new EPA ratings vs. old EPA ratings.
The "New" EAP MPG for both of our cars are now 23 c / 34 h. It's a shame that uninformed potential TDI buyers will see these new figures and think to themselves that it's not worth the extra money for diesel at those numbers. If they only knew what we already know.Lug_Nut said:2005 Passat TDI wagon: 27 mpg c / 38 mpg h.
Fraternity? Are you forgetting about us club members with X chromosomes?! Or are you just implying that girls aren't silly enough to compete in a mileage competition...(which would be a perfectly reasonable explanation for your discriminatory faux-pas.)Lug_Nut said:I'm beginning to understand the hardships the TDI fraternity ....

I'd need to see 'verification' before I'd accept these numbers Tim ... I've seen your foot in action and it's heavier than lead!CoJoNEs said:I am excited to try on the next Fest, my commute to the fest and back was about 12 miles which I made about 6 times in 4 days and late at night on backroads of ohio, average speed around 60 including stop signs . I think my average mpg for the Fest was around 40
