I hate the traction control and dont want to strare at the dumbie light.
Is the ESP a box I can remove or can I kill it wiyh Vag/com?
If it is removable as a unit, is there a market for it and how much is a fair price?

... None :S
No. If you disable the ESP and ABS it will screw up the brake force distrubitor, and your rear wheels will lock easily.

You can drive to my house and I'll swap all necessary components from my car to your car so yours is like an OEM that never had ESP :) I'll do it free too! LOL.

Think of the dumbie light as a "you are now free to do burnouts" light. Problem solved!

But if you really don't like the light, then you can put a piece of electrical tape *under* the cluster face to conceal the light. IIRC, ESP has to be switched off every time you turn on the car, though.
