im looking to get one with 234k on the clock one owner car. they have all documents about service but the only thing that i am wondering about is that when the turbo spools in the upper rpm like 3500 it makes this terrible high pitch squealing noise. now i have been reading and bare with me but it could be the egr not tightened down all the way or the turbo gettin ready to die on me. and the guy wants 3490 for the car. is that too high for one with this miles?

any body know what might be going on with this car?

Without hearing it, I would guess that one of the corrugated metal tubes around the egr cooler has a leak in it, or one of the connections between one of those tubes has sprang a leak. You should see a tell-tale of black soot around the leak.

so you dont think that the turbo is crapping out on it from what i have explained?
