I think it was the intention to have the city or state lsted on the badge....it may have been a minor oversight. No big deal.

As long as we're talking about minor points, I preferred the badge on the string from Toronto compared to the pin on style we just had in Boston.

If possible, pick a hotel with free internet access in the rooms. Or have them include the cost in the room rate. The Sheraton tried to stick me for $12+ per day for the internet.

Finding a large, high-quality hotel that could fit accomodate all of our functions while charging only 89$ a night in the Boston area, right next to one of our main events (F1) and very close to a "T" station seemed a lot more important at the time than free internet did. The Fest is about getting OFF the net and actually meeting fellow forum brothers in real space, is it not?

I liked those better as well, but, I think we were better off with the the ones we had as the strings may have been used at some points by us staffers to strangle each other

i think i would have just strangled myself though.
