2012 A3 broken glow plug question

Hey there I have several things to ask, but I'll start with just 1.
I broke one of my glow plugs while trying to remove it. Can I still drive it? The top end snapped off, the rest is still screwed in.

Yes, you can still drive it. You will have the MIL on shortly if it isn't already.

I have never seen a broken plug in a CBEA, but depending on where it broke off, you may be able to access it better with the intake manifold off of the engine.

Just curious... does your car have emission warranty from the diesel gate settlement?
If it does, would the glow plug cover by the warranty?
