I'm looking at an 01m and with the engine running cold the transmission temp is fluctuating wildly, from 11c to 60c. Overnight cold koeo, temp is 18c.
The VSS is another puzzle, turn the car on, always get a vss not found, intermittent. Clear the code the vss reports normally until the key is turned off, then back on which is when the code will come back. Simple as replacing the vss ? I don't see any problems with the harness. Thanks for guesses.
