If I purchase a new OEM center console CD changer and install it into an '05 system that has the Monsoon HU that will play MP3 discs will I be able to play MP3 discs with the CD changer also, or can only Audio CD's (CDA format, not MP3) be used in the changer?
Also, the wiring for the changer is in the armrest but will everything still work in the sound system? My car has OEM XM satelite radio, will a CD changer still work in this setup.
Does anyone know of a "Sync" type of hookup (one that plugs into the CD changer plug) that will allow a person to hook up an MP3 player via USB (or USB flashdrive) and play the MP3 files off these devices.
My car has the AUX input but the volume is way too quiet (compared to other sources i.e. CD, FM, Satelite) even with the volume turned all the way up on the MP3 player. Is there a setting via VCDS (Vag-com) that will adjust the volume levels of the different inputs of the factory HU (there is no setting via holding the MIX button for the AUX port)?
