Where do you buy your engine oil?

Is this the Mobil 1 Oil rated at MB229.51 spec? I just picked this up in the states for $6.13 a quart at the Merc Benz dealer in NF NY.

Wally world had the Mobil TDT Diesel Oil for $36.XX in Ajax.

No, I don't think so, web site says it has this Benz rating.

The Wally closes to home had Mobil TDT for $42.xx couple months ago but the last time I was there, they were all gone.

I just bought a 4 x 4 case of Mobil Delvac 1 0W40 from Paul Lizotte Fuels in Sudbury. It cost $6.79 / litre plus HST, for a total of $123.67.

$27 per 4 litre jug plus HST.

It's a CJ4 oil and used to be branded as Esso XD3 Extra.

So Gary, this is what the XD3 0w40 turned into? Also, were you up in Sudbury? I know he closed up shop in Barrie, closest place now is Huntsville if I'm not mistaken.

I buy my oil from Euroline in port credit.

he sells Motul specific 505.01 for the PD and also has filters

I get mine from Napa in Oakville. They got oil and filters. I use Castrol Syntec 5W40 in my TDI. Mann Filters too.

10,000 miles, 16,000kms is the standard OCI. Some of us that run almost all highway have extended that to 20-25k.. But don't take our word for it, get a OA done and make your own decisions based upon that.
