I am working on a swap using a 2005 BHW. I would like to use as much data from OBDII as possible for my gauges. What info can I get over OBD? Tacho, Voltage and Coolant Temp I'm sure but what else? Any chance of oil pressure?

Hi. It depends very much on the client who is reading the data. In theory you can read all the data that is available in VCDS.
A generic OBD application can't do that, but one which has some settings specific for VW, then you would be able to read any sensor value. If engine has oil pressure sensor, then you can read it, but I doubt. It only has a switch for oil pressure.

Supposedly, depending on the tune used, you can get the egt from the obd.
For oil pressure I used a TEE and combined the idiot light switch and a sensor for my oil gauge.
