Nice find Mike. It is almost exactly the right car, I don't think you looked to far or wide, to find it on this site!

As ofhs93 said in the same thread... "try $14k-15.5 for private party sale of that car in most places....perhaps the wierd California market would be different"

I suspect it is a dealer. I will check it out to confirm.

Only one problem, it's a gasser... but I'm sure someone here could fix that. Dang, everything else was perfect,it even had a turbo!

If you would go for a manual...which I've read over and over you won't, I have a car that meets your criteria perfectly in stock at a Volkswagen dealer in Virginia...which would make you exempt from paying the arizona tax. Also, I dunno if you've checked this or not, but out here in Virginia, if you buy a car you pay sales tax on it...through DMV...whether you buy it from a private party or not. Where they get you is when you're trying to register the car.

Yes, there was a problem. The car has more miles than specified, and costs far more than specified.
