Very bad shake on accelleration

The other day, I was going down a back road, and as I accelerated out of a curve, the whole car started to shake very badly. I don't mean in the steering wheel, I mean the whole car. I stopped and checked to see if I had loose lug nuts or something - and it didn't seem like it, so I limped the car home.

I did some research - and I checked the dogbone bolt, and the CV boots - everything looked fine to me. I'm at a loss - any ideas?

I just recently had issues with my engine lugging when I fully opened the throttle. Turned out I needed to replace the fuel filter. How long has it been since you changed yours?

I changed it last time I did an oil change. It doesn't feel like it is down on power.

When I was re-testing it, I put on the spare on the front passenger side because a shop told me maybe the wheel was out of balance. It didn't make any difference. The shake is actually there during acelleration, or just coasting.
