VCDS received! Question:

I bought a 2014 beetle recently, got a VCDS, plugged it in snd ran a scan and it has quite a few error codes.
How do I clear them out to see if the come back? Might not have been reset.

Well you go into the module where the codes are and say clear. If it is an engine code you go into engine. ABS you go to ABS

...or after the auto scan, in the same window just find the button that says "clear codes".

First thing to do is scan and save it so you always have a known starting place. This can be used to get back if you make a mistake.

Yeah, I didn’t exactly do this. Found my way back though after 5 tries. Haha got it scanned now though!
