That does not sound like an official Ross-Tech VCDS cable, so there is no guarantee it will work. Real VCDS cables are NOT named after the version of the software they use (in your case, 812.4) and besides, the current version is 908.1
Regardless, the cable must be CAN capable. If it is not, it will not work with your JSW.
