Couple question, I searched P208A and found 5 post that didnt answer my question.
1. What ohm resistor can be put between pin 1 and 2 on the reductant pump plug to fool the computer?
2. VW calls for a 5Q0131971B if you search that pn a bosch pn F01C600266 comes up. Is a F01C600265 a predecessor pn? I can find the 265 on rock auto but the 266 is out of stock. Both look identical.
3. The BOSCH pn on the vehicle is a F01C250148
4. I have calls into Malone and Kerma to ask if there tunes write a new file EXCLUDING the reductant pump, waiting for them to call me back.
I dont want to spend $360 on a new pump if for $600 i can flash the ECM with a file that remove the pump from the equation. Currently to get the car to start i just use my VCDS to clear the codes then i run it all day and dont shut it off until im home. I just picked this 2015 up after my 2012 at 397k died, I think it spun a bearing since the timing belt is good. But im getting off topic.
