low tire pressure light came on

rear tires were at 30 psi, hankook specs on mine say 51 psi

Filled all 4 tires, turned car off. Pressed ignition only to the accessory status, held TPMS. Nothing, no beeping, held for a long time too

Turned car completely on, tried again. Nothing, no beep, held button for 15 seconds and nothing

🤔😭

Update, held it for a very long time around 20 seconds and now the TP light starts blinking and then says Please check tires on the dash, followed by the light going back to solid. Tires are all aired up and checked with pressure gauge

First off, 51 PSI seems massively overinflated. What tire size are you running? Recommended tire pressures are on the driver side door frame.

Second, when there is an issue with the TPMS, sometimes pressing the reset is not enough. The VW TPMS does not use pressure sensors in the wheel like some companies, but uses ABS wizardry to calculate an abnormality among the tires. This means you need to actually drive the car for a while, up to around 50 miles or so, in order for the TPMS light to reset itself, and this is presuming you have fixed the problem.
