Hey all. 02 jetta, ALH 5Spd. Vnt17, upgraded intercooler, upgraded injectors (not sure what as I didnt do the mods), kerma intake, some tune as no CEL for egr delete, ya know, all the good stuff ya want in a tdi.

So I had to redo the timing belt due to a missing roller, belt rubbing on the boss for said roller, and it ran. Vagcom said it was too far advanced to graph the timing. So I retarded the fuming and now it wont start. It almost seems as though it needs to be super advanced to even run. Other than retiming it again, which ill be tearing it apart yet again, any ideas as to why???

If you're confident you have the crank, cam and IP properly aligned, you may have just moved too far when you retarded it, or you moved it the wrong way. When adjusting the IP pulley, you want to move a very small amount.
