I tried doing some searching bit the answers seem to elude me.
is there info on how to test the harness attached to the #3 fuel injector?
where do the wires terminate? What kind of voltage/resistance values should I see?

Looking at my haynes manual I think it's pins 101 and 109 of the ecu, possibly a blue and a grey wire.

Doesn't seem to go anywhere else other than straight to the ecu.

There's also info about the ohms of the lift sensor somewhere round here, what it should read but I don't have that bookmarked

The lift sensor resistance checks out. Thanks for the pin #'s. I'll check it for continuity tomorrow. I'm not convinced it's a mechanical failure. Based on the amount of electrical I've seen replaced in the engine bay to far.
Thanks

We'll those pins showed 0.4 ohms and no continuity to ground or positive terminal. So it looks lIle wiring is fine. car auction is tomorrow. so hopefully I come home with a solid car and the problem disappears with the engine swap
