Hi

I have changed my suspension to yellow Koni shocks / Eibach springs some time ago. It's a great setup for B-roads, and I love the handling. What I like less, is the noise and reduced comfort on autobahn at 100mph+. Yellow Konis seem too stiff for that application, even on full soft setting.

So, with this in mind, I am looking to replace Konis with Bilstein Sprint B8 monotubes all round.

My questions before I spend the money are:

Are Bilstein B8's much softer than Konis?

How much stiffer are they than the stock shocks?

And for the expert, what is the added spring rate?

If you do not like the Yellow, the Sprints will be even worse. The Yellow have way too much compression, and you feel it. The Bilsteins have a lot of rebound and that will hit you on the back at very high speeds.

Find a Koni service near you and ask them to revalve at least your rear Yellow to Red specs. You will love the high speed ride. If money is an issue, keep the front Yellow as they are.
