Hi there, another 2005 Passat TDI Wagon up for sale. Had been daily driver until transmission died. I have maintained this car for the last 8 years and no longer have time for that sort of thing.

The Good:

• All electronics present and working
• All exterior and interior lights present and working
• Factory radio sounds great
• VW rack for the roof rails
• Full size spare matches rims
• Headlights polished and clear
• All belly panels installed on undercarriage, side skirt and wheel wheel
• Balance Shaft Delete Kit (IDparts) about 60k miles ago
• New high quality cv joints, shocks and struts installed about 20k miles ago
• New EGR valve installed about 15k miles ago
• New brake fluid reservoir and front left caliper about 7k miles ago
• All glass is intact
• All doors, hood and rear gate open
• Moon roof works and does not leak
• All windows work
• Heater works well
• AC works well
• Power locks work on all doors
• Parking brake works
• No flood or fire damage
• No rust on undercarriage
• Receiver trailer hitch with 4-pin wiring harness

The Bad:

• 228,000 miles on the odometer
• Interior is worn
• Missing key fob (I have two actual keys; one owner key and one valet key)
• Tires are getting old and should be replaced
• Missing one hub cover

The Ugly:

• Transmission does not work, probably completely destroyed
• Front driver and passenger fenders have through hole rust in limited areas
• Small dent in hood
• Small dent in rear gate

That's what I was thinking! Hurts to see it go to salvage. I'd keep it and part it out myself but I don't have the space.

No one in the area needs a spare BHW motor already deleted for a swap.....come, someone save it for the parts alone.

If I didn’t have a young family, I’d road trip that way immediately even being 7-ish states away.

If it were 5 years from now I’d take it. I’ve owned 8 or so B5.5’s over the years. I plan to teach my kiddos how to drive with a stick when they start driving lessons. BHW would be perfect.
