$15,000 asking price on The Samba. I wonder what the eBay reserve is set at?

I don't think it's unique enough to garner that great of a price. You can take a PD110 Jetta Wagon here and put a Golf clip on it and you'll be almost there.

EDIT: O.K., I partially take that back....it's got a 6-speed manual, too.

173.000 kilometers (107,000 miles) serviced by Volkswagen only. Granted, the first 4-5 years of it's life that meant Euro VWs only, but the last few years it's been serviced by US VW dealerships...

actually, if there was a title issued, with the vin of the vehicle, then the car is legal, in order to get a title one must provide the import records from customs to the state DMV, i know i have imported a few cars in my day...

interesting side note, sometimes things slip through the cracks, into the country that shouldn't have. but are still legally registrable despite not being up to DOT or EPA standards
