Hi Y'all.. I've just returned to Las Vegas after being out of country for 2 mos where my garage kept Q5 is driving really clunky. The engine revs way higher than what I remember before shifting gears, +2400 RPM for standard acelleration, and when the gears do switch over there is a noticeable lurch/lunge after the transition. So much that my body actually rocks forward. I've noticed this before but only when the car is downshifting during breaking. I also noticed a whinning noise on rapid acceleration and really heard it today given the temps dropped so much in vegas that I didn't need the AC to be blasting. It's a high pitched noise that kind of whistles out when accelerating rapidly. While I was away I did have a neighbor start the car ~4 times but they didn't drive it anywhere. Any thoughts on what might be happening? If anybody has recommendations for Vegas area service garages that are not an Audi dealership I would love your input as well. Thanks!
