Peeling Clearcoat Warranty

I bought a 2015 GSW buyback. I am still under warranty and both the front and rear bumpers have the clearcoat peeling.

Dealer told me this isn't covered under warranty - true?

Doubt it, they sell a separate paint warranty if I remember correctly

Paint is covered on 3 yr/36k factory warranty. Friend had his rear bumper redone (poorly) under warranty.

It's corrosion warranty, and clear coat provides zero corrosion protection. my guess it's a wear item especially with how thing the coating is.
