From what i understand the american PD100 has all the same hardware as the Euro PD130. It seems as though it is only de-tuned via software. Is this true? SAme turbo, front mount, injectors, etc....?

Thanks.

I do believe the EGR systems are completely different (the US EGR valve and throttle plate are electrical, the European are vacuum actuated). I assume this is due to stricter US NOx emissions regulations. I doubt the European models use an O2 sensor (its part of the EGR system on the US models).

Very interesting. So emmision related parts are the only diffrence? So the turbo, injectors, etc... are all the same?

The turbo may be different too (I think it is). There are probally several other slight differences. I would not be suprised if the injectors are different. I think the ECU has a different part number as well.
