Parking light bulb

A few weeks ago, my MFD display started to display message that the right front parking light bulb was out (forget the actual words). Searching the forum, I found the part number for the bulb, pulled the lens and replaced the bulb. Now about a week later, the same message.

Is there typically a problem with the wiring or socket for the lens?
Bad bulb?

Not usually. But remember, There are two. One inside the headlight (the small peanut bulb inside the high beam reflector) and the amber one in the bumper.

Also, As odd as it sounds, Check your back lights. it may be possible that one of those are out. I had a front marker light out and it was telling me my rear parking light was out.

Wonky german electronics....

Thanks for the pointers on the other bulbs, will check them this weekend.
