So I just installed my half hieght Euro display with the outside temp sensor and my temps seem to be crazy hot all the time. Could I have a bad sensor or wired it backwards? Is there a way to calibrate the sensor?

Any help would be great.

I would double check the connections going to the temp sensor first. If thats OK, I would try a different sensor. Maybe you got a bad sensor.

The sensor should be just a temp based resistor, I don't think polarity has an effect on it. Does it use a chassis ground?
What are the wires going to it, if it uses power-output-ground, then you may have it backwards or wired wrong.

I will check the sensor. But it may just be the heat coming from the streets as tonight after a good rain storm it was reading about 2 degrees higher than what the weather service was reporting for my area.
