Oscilloscope options ? Yes, I know an o'scope isn't a scanner, but it's almost one.

I have a thread in the mkiv section about a problem child alh. It was suggested an oscilloscope and pressure transducers might help isolate the problem. The recommended flavor was a Picoscope 4425 with gadgets. Does anyone use an o'scope and if so, which one ? Thanks.

Do you just need the scope and you'll figure the rest out, or do you need a turnkey package with an assortment of automotive transducers etc?

If just the scope: Facebook Marketplace should have a ton of old analog scopes, $100 or less, that will work for what you want. That's what I use, for example.

If you don't know much about scopes and need an off-the-shelf complete package that you just plug in and follow along, the Pico is probably your best bet, since there will be a lot of Youtube videos on how to use it.

Won't be $100, unfortunately. :)
