Hey fellas, I finally located where the Michigan people are. I'm on my way to Milwaukee tomorrow to take delivery of a Passat tdi (if the car is as clean as they say). I have yet to spy a Passat tdi in Michigan....ever! So I'm very excited about getting something that is rarely found in Michigan. Has anyone experience any problem getting going during a below zero morning here? There were a few mornings last winter where my Mazda MX-3 could barely turn over.

Where exactly isthe tdi barn in Michigan??

not a single problem with below zero if you use the proper synthetic oil.

the TDI barn is in Hastings.

And I see LOTS of passat TDIs here in michgan (like maybe 5 or 6) kinda split between sedan and wagon.

There should be a good representation of them at the GTG too!

33 signed up so far for the Mi GTG at Hondo's
Now that shows the Midwest (esp Hondo's place) knows how to throw a workshop. From Nebraska to New Hampshire, this will be a great time.
