New problem on my ALH TDI. It always happen when the car has been sitting for more than 6-7 hours in the cold. I'm able to start but the idle is really rough and jerky and I have a hard time getting any power, it accelerate reeaaaally slowly and it jerk a lot. It's also smoking a lot. Then after 5-10 of driving, the problem just disappear and the car start driving like a real TDI. No code found when I scanned it with my ScanGauge, I still need to scan with my vag-com to see if anything else is there.

How cold is it? Are the glow plugs working? Is this a new problem?

Only mildly cold like 32F, glow plug perfectly working and yes it's a new problem.

Check for air in the fuel line and I/P timing. What color is the smoke?
