Mk4 Golf hatch spoiler fit MK4 Jetta Wagon?

There are people in a Jetta Facebook group saying that the GTI MK4 spoiler fits the MK4 JSW. Now the pictures of that arrangement don't look that flattering to me but it gets the job done and I don't see any difference dimension wise.

Is there then any reason that a non gti MK4 Golf spoiler won't fit? Looks like a cheap replica of a votex type spoiler to me and they are a dime a dozen. Also look quite tidy.

Since the Mk4 Golf and Jetta wagon hatches are so different, I would guess that the spoilers are totally different.
