MFD zeroing itself on MkVI Jetta

This isn't a huge deal since I use the odometer reading to track my fuel economy, but so far I haven't made it through a full tank of fuel without the MFD resetting itself back to zero on all the #2 gauges. Does anyone know if this has to do with a certain number of engine on/off cycles or something? I am a courier, so I probably do have more cycles than someone just using the car for commuting. That's the only thing I can think of.

My #2 reading seems to reset at 20 hours run time.

I guess that makes sense. I haven't been keeping track of that, but it was later on in each tank, and my shortest distance between fill-ups was 665 miles, with an average speed below 30 mph.
