I have finished refreshing my front suspension, replaced the control arm brackets, tie rod ends, and ball joints.
Well, when I installed the ball joints, I forgot/did not realize that they are left/right ball joints.
I just grabbed a box without looking at or referencing the part number to determine which side the ball joint gets installed.
Can I determine if I installed the ball joints on the proper side (50/50 chance)? Without removing them? I can drop the control arm easily, but really don't want to pop the joint out of the hub.
I thew away the old ball joints and boxes, since it has been at least a week since I installed them, just have not put the car back on the ground, had to R&R the clutch and timing belt.
Same situation almost happened with the tie rods, removed the old one, and grabbed a new tie rod (luckily it was the correct side), and installed it.
