Having been in a situation such as the one depicted, I can appreciate what the driver must have been feeling.

Wow.

I know a guy here who is on his 2nd RS4 (quite a different animal from the S4 but still with 4 doors). He let a friend drive the first one the day after he picked it up from the dealer and it was promptly totalled. Something about flying upside down over an irrigation ditch. Fortunately both were unharmed. The 2nd one has already been through 1 of the 2 turbos and one cylinder. Must have something to do with 157mph-or is it 167?-in the unlimited 5th gear. 6th is limited he said.

The B5 RS4 wasn't sold in North America, and the B7 RS4 has a naturally aspirated V8.

Now, if they were S4s... the stock turbos on the B5 S4 are known for blowing like crazy - with a stock tune. Like, they make a VNT15 with a sticky actuator on a heavily modded TDI look like the paragon of reliability.

Sorry I stand corrected, I was going on some third hand information. It is the normally aspirated 2007 RS4.
