Impex air filter

I just noticed that Impex has the air filter for a TDI for $12. I assume this is not a factory VW one right?

I want to make sure this is not one that does not fit right. Anyone use this on their TDI?
I do not want to ruin a MAF.

u4ea, just check with John at IMPEX. I suspect it is an OE filter. I bought one from the dealership a couple of months ago and paid $14 so it is entirely conceivable IMPEX could sell the same part for $12.

Impex sells quality parts! chances are you will get either a Factory Filter or a Mahle or a Mann
which are excellent made in Germany replacements.
They use wholesale pricing and are great folks to deal with.

Thanks....for some reason I was thinking the dealer air filter was $30. Must be thinking of the pollen one.
