Headlight bulb in MKVI in DFW area need help!

I have messed with the drivers side low beam bulb for well over an hour and can't get the bulb back in the housing and rotate into place. I'm near Fort Worth/Arlington off of I30. I have test fit and messed with the passenger low beam dozens of times and still can't figure out what's wrong with drivers side
