Non-op in California, Leaky injection pump, so it won't pass Smog test.
Clean Title, 2 keys

Last driven 2016.

California Desert, so no rust, but some faded paint and loose upholstry trim.

History
Purchased with about 55K miles, about 2002.
Family car, around town, freeway, and vacations.
Bought a 2012 Jetta TDI so this one was driven less until it developed the leak, then parked.

Maintenance by me: Proper oil. Oil and fuel filters at recommended intervals.
Rear brake pads once. Front pads twice and new front rotors.
MAF bad at about 70K. Replaced with a Mbenz part. No more probs with it.
CEL due to glow plug circuit ohms problem. New glow plugs, and wired the plugs in parallel.
One TB change about 90K.
Passenger window regulator replacement. Has gone bad again.

Repairs by a local shop, enthusiast owner has his own TDI Jetta -
Timing belt, water pump, idler pully March 2013 at 172745 miles
A/C compressor, expansion valve, condensor and flush Sept 2014 176336 miles
Trans pulled, torque convertor seal had failed and was replaced. Guessing about 100K, Leaks a little.

Pros
No Rust
Interior very nice

Cons
Fuel leak from front of Injector pump. Fuel leaks out (fails smog for visible leaks), and lets air in. I did vacuum pump fuel through the system a while ago and got it to start. But not when I tried lately, I did not try real hard.

Fading paint and some scratches.

Belly pan plastic is wounded. Driver side fender panel currently off to facilitate tranny fill.

Passenger window will not stay up, broken regulator parts?
Driver window switch seems bad.
Antenna retaining clip failed, so antenna dangles.
Driver door hinge spring broke, so the door needs a pull to open.

Needs
Tires, Battery, Wiper blades, TLC
