Free legal factory wiring diagrams....
I just found this a few hours ago and figured I'd share...
It seems that Autozone has factory wiring diagrams for several different VWs on their web site, you have to sign up, but it is free.
Go to Autozone.com and in the upper right corner, click on "become a member" and fill out the info as needed.
Once signed up, look for "REPAIR INFO" across the top of the screen and click on it, then on the left menu bar you will find the "Vehicle Repair Guides" option, click on it, a new pop up window appears, select your vehicle. Once you do that, you will see a list of options, look for "Wiring Diagrams".
This doesn't seem to cover some the latest vehicles, but it's worth a look.
