First New Car, TDI

Hey...

Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Tyler and I bought a VW Golf TDI last month after the engine fell out of my 1989 Buick Century.

I live in Delaware Ontario Canada, which is close to London but work all over Ontario as a conductor for Canadian Pacific Railway.

Hopefully, soon, I can do some "mods" to improve the gas mileage on the car (as if I even need to) and some esthetical improvements as well.

Yes you got a great car and have found a great place to help you with your car,but if you put gas in it you'll not get any mpg out of it just kiddin there are new words and terms,have fun and drive.......

Hey Tyler. Welocome to the club. What pool do you work? If you ever work trains 246 or 158 to TO or 241 or 159 to London, I may have talked to you before. I am the IOC at Obico. If you can make it to Gerrys GTG on the 17th, it would be a good opportunity to meet a lot of TDI nuts. Hope to see you there.

Yeah I trained in London, and if you've worked at Obico prior to 2001 you might remember my father Myles who was a hogger there on and off for a long while.

I read about this GTG and it sounds good, I'll do my best (despite being forced to the Toronto SPBd all summer) to make it.
