Elsbett PD SVO single tank kit now available

Just noticed on the Elsbett site that they have started offering the PD single tank kit from their shop.

I've yet to hear from anyone who has fitted one. The Elsbett service partner I was working with have a customer lined up (a taxi) but have not yet done an installation.

Thats three German companies now offering different single tank PD kits all involve ECU remaps. Unless I'm much mistaken they would all require TUV approval. (search for my Open PPO TDI post for more info)

Price 1050 Euro. Only for the 1.9 4 cyl (not every engine code) I was toled they would become available for some 2.5 engines also.

Very interesting.

Note the list of parts to be changed. It includes ECU reprogramming, and replacement glow plugs, and a bunch more stuff.

Looks like EDC15 engine controls are the only ones listed right now. That rules out the North American P-D models, although I would imagine that it won't take long before they can do the EDC16 controls also.
