DSG Tune First

Any issues with doing a DSG tune first to get better response from the trans while on a stock tune? Figured I do it first and when the time comes for “off-roading”, I can do the engine tune along with other parts/upgrades.

That's what I did, did the DSG tune first and do the engine later.

The DSG tune make a Huge difference after all.

Good to hear. Never had a DSG, usually a manual in all my TDI’s. Got this JSW for a good deal, but the trans seems sluggish. Seems the trans tune should alleviate those problems.

Make sure the trans has been serviced first

Just serviced it with fresh fluid and a new filter. It was a lower mileage used trans I dropped in and serviced at the same time. Did adaptations too.
