Don't let the TB go over 120k on 2.0

Had the TB changed on my 09 sedan. Two cracks in the belt. The tech at Donaldson's VW stated it was about to go.

Good Info, curious to how your '09 has been over 120k? As much as I love the ALH, ours had had glow plug issues, MAF replacement, and a few other unscheduled visits by 120k. My gist is other than the big name, low frequency issues, the new engines are very reliable.

120. done a bunch past that and they looked ok. But that is a gamble....it's a really spendy motor.

TBH I would have figured time id a bigger wear factor on these belts than miles... guess I figured wrong!
