The DIN quality standard has been officially released:-
"Pure rapeseed oil now in standard quality Starting from 1 July 2006 the preliminary standard DIN V 51605 is available for rapeseed oil fuel. According to data of the Bavarian Ministry Of Agriculture thereby rapeseed oil stands as defined fuel for the order. Rapeseed oil-suited engines could be offered thereby ex factory with full warranty and guarantee of the manufacturers. Those Preliminary standard replaces the “quality standards for rapeseed oil as fuel 05/2000 “, the Weihenstephaner in such a way specified standard. This served 2003 as work basis for since autumn the standardization committee of the German institute working for standardization registered association (DIN). The preliminary standard DIN V of 51605 „fuels for vegetable oil-suited engines - rapeseed oil fuel - requirements and testing method “can with the Beuth publishing house, Berlin"
