Reuters have now reported that VW will buy back tdi cars from 2009 to 2015 with a price based back to September 2015. I hope the same applies to Canadian owners!

Do you think it will be a forced buyback or more of an offer they give that we can choose to take? I'm really hoping for the $5,000 cash and keep my Jetta.

I'm thinking it'll be buy back plus $5000 or get fixed plus $5000 or whatever dollar amount decided on. You'll have to do either one to get the cash. Do neither and get no cash.

What To Do????

Man, im so confused on what to do-- do I take the cash for the buyback and go buy another car or keep my 2013, and an extra $5000 (could come handy for future repairs). What are you guys planning on doing?
