It's splattered in a small area around the turbo and down around the heat shield by the cat.

I just got the turbo replaced 3 months ago, and had an egr delete done like 10 years ago.
My fear is the dude who did the turbo replace screwed something up with my egr delete...
I'm not good at this stuff, but shouldn't there be something connected to that open valve or whatever that is at the center of the pic...??
Thanks for any advice on this.
1.9L BRM in an 06 Jetta btw.

Looks like the EGRcooler is still installed. However the one of the lines is removed and probably capped off on the opposite end. It’s really not hurting anything however the EGR cooler should be removed and the coolant lines connected. The black oil is leaking out of the intake I think that’s a common problem on all BRM‘s. There’s not much you can do to fix it. I put a different O-ring in that helps a little better but still leaks a little bit.

Which end needs to be capped off? Got a link to any pics or videos?
I think I'll order another delete kit and get a professional to do it...again.

Not that big of a concern. I would replace the oring seal and not the whole pipe which likely has nothing wrong with it.

I agree with that. When I have replaced mine, I was not able to find the O-ring for sale by itself.
